Suitable SCADA softwareMy team is involved in designing a control system based on PLC and SCADA for a water supply network having one central control room, 5 local control rooms, 50 outstations (totally including around 1500 measuring points and final elements, mainly control and on/off valves). In this regard, we are looking for a suitable SCADA software that would be able to handle control and monitoring requirements of the project, with the above mentioned specifications. If anybody has a similar experience we would be very glad to hear his advise. The e-mail address for probable contact is: stavakolie_cs @ yahoo. com.
FactoryPMI is a great way to solve such a distributed SCADA application because of it's Java based runtime and fixed licensing. I'd recommend signing up for a web demo or launching the online demo.
