Field currentField current on transducer and exciter regulator are different. What could be possible?

How have you verified this? Have you measured the current in the shunt circuit?
If there's a transducer, it probably has to be calibrated. How recently was it calibrated?

Measure the field current through standard DC clamp ON meter in order to decide the faulty instrument (either trnaducer or regulator).
