We have several TN Density Pro Plus density meters on plant site. We are currently haveing issues with the displays (Hantronix HDM20416L-1-E30S). We were trying to find the dispays cheaper than the meters manufacturer can offer. The only place we can find is Mouser.com, but they have a minimum order of 300. Far more than we need, but way cheaper. Is there anybody that is having the same issue? Does anybody know if there is another brand of display that would be compatable and have the same connection configuation as this one?

Are they just standard 2 line or 4 line LCD displays with Hitachi HD44780 Parallel Chipset? It should have a 14 or 16 pin ribbon header on it. If this is the case you can hook up any brand that will fit physically in your device. You will need to keep with the display configuration, i.e. 2x16 line or 2x40 line display, etc. Check out this page for more info:
