Would like to seek help from someone who knows how to create the updated CSP.PRN and CSP_XREF.PRN files after doing a modification in the sequence.

Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Run the CSP Documentor. It can usually be executed from the Main Menu, or you can exit to a command prompt, change to the unit-specific directory, and execute the following command:

MS_XREF

It will take quite some time to execute on an <I>, running IDOS. You might try stopping IDOS before you execute the command by typing IDOSEXIT at the command prompt, then running the CSP Documentor. You can re-start IDOS when the Documentor is finished by typing RUN_IDP or just re-booting the <I>.

It will run much faster on a PC running MS-Windows. You can use PKZip to compress all the files in the UNIT1 directory and the PROM subdirectory (retain the directory structure) onto floppies, put them on a PC running MS-Windows in a temporary directory (be sure to put the PROM subdirectory files in a subdirectory called PROM under the directory where you put the UNIT1 files), and then copy MS_XREF.EXE from G:\EXEC directory on the <I> to a floppy, copy it to the directory where you put the UNIT1 files, then open a command prompt window, change to the directory where you put the UNIT1 files and run MS_XREF. It will be finished in just a few seconds!

I have successfully done the CSP.PRN compliation by using your method but it was very slow in the IDOS computer but when it was done in the laptop with win XP it was done in few seconds.

Thanks once again for your encouraging response and support.
