I am looking for references to prove that deionized water has a much higher chemical dissolution capability for common salts and hydrocarbons. Basically all I need is the calculation of reaction rate of deionized water with a) common salts and b) hydrocarbons compared to the reaction rate of tap water with those two. If you could help me it would be much appreciated!
