I have a PC running Timken Status Check software. The software has a built in OPC server. I can run an OPC client on this same PC and access the Timken OPC server. I am trying to access the Timken OPC server on our WinCC server. For some reason I cannot connect. WinCC sees the server on the remote PC, but it will not connect to it. Anyone tried to link these two platforms? Timken admitted that they have never done it and cannot help. I've tried every solution I have found for OPC connection issues by Google.
The Timken software is running on an XPSP2 PC.
