problems downloading WinCC...
Human-Machine Interface and SCADA. topic
Posted by Atif on 20 July, 2008 - 12:56 pm
I need WinCC to create my application with S7-200 PLC. I tried to find the Demo or full version but was not able to find it anywhere on the internet and have been looking for days now. Can anyone suggest me a working link or anything which might help. If wincc is not possible then can we get a download of the demo version of WinCC Web Navigator?

Its needed urgently for my project and will appreciate it.
Thank you
Atif

Hello Atif;

There is an easy explanation for the fact that you cannot find a downloadable version of WinCC: Siemens does not post them on the Web. There is a huge amount of support data available on the subject (see the Siemens HMI portal, for example:
https://www.automation.siemens.com/simatic/portal/html_76/ techdok_simatic/hmi_techdoku.htm?HTTPS=REDIR ).

The only way you can find a demo CD of WinCC would be to contact your nearest Siemens rep. He may have some in his desk drawer, or he may know how to order it for you.

Hope this helps,
Daniel Chartier

WinCC is a licensed software and may not be available on the internet. If you need any other help, please let me know.
