Modbus Mini-din
Communications systems and equipment. topic

I need to connect a Modbus cable to a mini-din conector, but I don't know what's the correct connection of the pins. I need your help as soon as possible. Thank you.

I think that what you need is a Multi-function cable, ref. TSXPCX1031. This is the cable for Unitelway communication to Premium PLCs. I'm afraid I can't help you with the wiring, because the cable has a box in the middle of if, with a selector on it.

What is the make and model of the device or comms card that you are using?

Comm ports from different manufacturers will have different pinouts.

Some of them even have power pin, so be careful using cables made by one manufacturer on another manufacturer's products.
