I have 2 Masterpiece 200 controllers that I want to read and get the data to our SCADA system (PI from OSI) We are currently using Wonderware's ABB Excom DDE server and PI-DDE but it is constantly giving us problems and we just can't seem to get it to work reliably for any extended period. The PI-OPC interface is much more robust that their DDE interface and I would like to switch to an OPC setup instead of the out dated DDE link.
I can't seem to find the right OPC server that will easily replace my old DDE server.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Eric

ABB's 800xA system supports your MP200 controllers and provides OPC connectivity.
If you do not want to use all of the 800xA HMI functions, then you only need a small tag license which will help keep the cost down.
We have a lot of experience integration OSI PI with ABB systems.

If you've got a GCOM card, you can use Matrikon's OPC Server for GCOM http://matrikonopc.com/opc-drivers/24/index.aspx
