Modbus master as DCS and HMI as slave
Communications systems and equipment. topic
Posted by GPatel on 27 August, 2008 - 10:19 pm
I have a application for new DCS interface. Field equipment has only one Modbus port. I need to make two Modbus ports: one for DCs and second one is for vendor PC connect.

Can anybody suggest a device for multiplexer? One input and two output ports on same device.

We offer a product that allows two or three Modbus Masters to connect to a single Modbus Slave (or network of slaves). You can download a data sheet here http://www.miille.com/din366-10p.pdf If you have further questions you
can contact me at the link noted on the data sheet.

We sell a product called the XLTR-200 that supports an RS232 and 2 RS485 ports, each of which can be individually configured as Modbus masters or slaves.
