Plz help me getting the flow rate in m3/hr from Std m3/hr. I have a thermal Flow meter in the outlet of ESP duct.

The outletDuct is Connected to a ID fan. The meter is reading in Standard Meter3/hr.
The operating pressure are (-VE) 170 mbar & temp is 150 deg C.Dust density is 0.88 kg/m3

How to get the flow rate in m3/hr. What are the formulas used. Plz specify.

Standard m3/hr is actually a mass flow equivalent at a specified temperature and pressure. If you want actual m3/hr at the flowing temperature and pressure, you must correct for the difference. The correction depends on the ratios of absolute flowing temperature to absolute base temperature, and absolute base pressure to absolute flowing pressure.

1. Find out the specific values used for the base conditions for your version of "standard": probably 10.325 kPa but could be 0 degC, 15 degC or 15.5 degC.

2. Convert all pressures and temperatures to absolute.

3. Then actual flow = standard flow x actual abs temp/base abs temp x base abs press/actual abs press.
