I never heard of Janette (spelling?) electric damper actuators, where can I find information on them ?
I am fairly certain that Janette was bought by Leeds & Northrup. If that's the case, L&N was then bought by Honeywell, who now sells what's left of the line as Herculine actuators.
I remember claims that Honeywell had fixed the leaking seals on the L&N's.
The Janette label was WAY before electronic documentation, so the likelihood of finding a pdf is pretty remote.

I know this is an old thread, but figured I'd add my 2 cents...
The spelling is Janette. We have some documentation. You are correct, L&N acquired the Janette line (also known as the 11280 Series), and then was acquired by Honeywell. Honeywell has since discontinued that product line.

The high torque 11xxx models are gone, but the mid torque 10xxx models are still available from Honeywell. I bought a 10xxx as a replacement 3 months ago to actuate a damper.
