Woodward LQ9 on GE LM1500
Power generation equipment control. topic
Posted by seanookie on 19 October, 2008 - 4:50 am
With 750 psig of Diesel fuel on its supply connection, is the controllability of the Woodward LQ9 valve effected with a back pressure of 30psig on its excess return line? Thanks.

Have you asked Woodward? They would be the best people to ask about back-pressure's effects on the valve, if the information isn't in the manual.

Or, whomever is the packager for the units that is providing the auxiliaries and control devices/system.

Thanks for the response. I tried to contact Woodward and the Packager already. I'm assured someone will be getting back to me in a few days. Unfortunately, we're on a tight schedule so I though I would pose the question to the forum.
