Dear all,

We want to use DC driver 591P (SSD driver) to supply power for field coil of synchronous motor. We know 591P can use for this application. But we are new in this field. Please let us know what parameters need to set with this application.

While this is a simple thing to do with this drive, it will take too much to describe it here. In summary you want to go to the Field Control menu and enable Field Control. You will need to setup the Field Current parameter so the drive won't let the field have too much current. There are other field parameters for doing field weakening etc.
