Phoenix Contact Connected to Proface HMI
Human-Machine Interface and SCADA. topic
Posted by All on 13 January, 2009 - 9:39 pm
Dear Sir,

How we can connect Phoenix Contact PLCs to Siemens Simatic or Proface HMI (via Ethernet or RS232 port)?

Thanks!
Ban

Hi Ban,
Are you connecting ILC PLC to AGP3000 Series?
Phoenix Contact has standard protocol of ModBus Serial, same as Pro-face.

Whereas for Ethernet ModBus TCP/IP Protocol you need to have Ethernet Module for both PLC & Pro-face. It is subjective to selection of hardware.

hsiwei
