I want to know the required equipments from Siemens to convert old TiStar system with 386 PCs to new Siemens technology

Hello Mz;
The "latest Siemens technology" would be PCS 7 in your case.
The Siemens PCS 7 portal has a page on legacy systems migration to PCS 7; this link has focus on Tistar:

Amongst other information and documents you will find a download of the migration catalogue on that site.

Did you ever find what you were looking for? There are several ways to accomplish such a conversion. We recently completed a PCS7 upgrade that continued to use the I/O only and are now working on a project to merely replace the Tistar with WinCC.
