We are having LANNER & SIERUG-C SoftAS Controllers for our Captive Power Plants. Due to denial for spare support for the coming years, we are forced to buy SIERUG-POWER as offered by Siemens Gurgaon. Kindly suggest, what to do?

For the present DCS configurations, we have just finalised 02 nos of OPC Servers for both DCS CPP1 & CPP3 at a huge cost i.e. half a crore.

Parashari Ji,

I would suggest instead of buying another problematic controller better go for siemens latest DCS i.e SPPAT-3000. now siemens gurgaon is also offering that.

Rahulji,

His problem is frequent migration.

When did u had installation? Doesn't they commit for some life cycle support? I think most of the organisations gives at least 10 years component support.
