Comunication Problems on Profibus Yokogawa and Siemens
Application Questions and Problems topic
Posted by Jesus Carrero Blanco on 20 March, 2009 - 8:02 am
Hello I try to put a normal profibus-DP network between Yokogawa ALP111(as a master) and a Siemens ET200M IM153-1(SLAVE) with a 32xDI module attached(6ES7-321-1BL00-0AA0).

We already use the SyCon obtained from Yokogawa(SyCon-PM/YOKO or SyCon-DNYOKO), and we have the License or Keycode LFS2542 for Profibus Comm. on Yokogawa CS3000 R3.08. Also we import to SyCon the ".GSD" file for "ET200M IM153-1" from Siemens.

We configure the SyCon and generate the ".dbm" file and imported to the module ALP111 properties on System View.

We fill the %%WWxxxx table on System View for the module. We download and undpate the controller, and we get a Comm. failure "CA91" on the CS3000 and a flashing BF red led on the ET200M.

We check almost everything with out results.

What do you suggest to check?

Thanks.

Hello again.

We already find the problem in the configuration on the Master ALP111 in SyCon.

We deactivate the DPV1 setting on the Master, and we get comunication.

That means that the ALP111 is only profibus DP and not DPV1, instead that the ET200M support the last one.

The rest was easy cake.

Thanks.

Hello Mohammad;

Try Siemens' support website: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/113498.

Save the link, it is the best location for manuals, downloads and sample programs for Siemens automation and drives product. Learn to use the Search feature (try the "New search" link on the left) to find information on the site.

Hope this helps,
Daniel Chartier
