Dear sir

i m instrument technician from karachi pakistan. i have 1 ML50 PLC Honeywell and 1 HMI HCI05 Honeywell. i'm using different methode of communication communicating B/w ML50 to HCI but still i fail. HCi provide 15 pin port and ML50 RS-232C and RS 485 Communication Protocol. but i don't understand about this communication mannual provide 9 pin serial port in HCI and i found 15 pin. how to proceed that? plz help

hi Afzal!

I am also a newbee with PAC ML50. but i came across this when i was searching about PAC. It might be of some use to you. There are two software packages available for PAC

1. softmaster( configuration tool for ML50 and ML200)

2. Softmaster NM- network management(Configuration of all communication modules)

If this information is new to you. try configuring your communication with HMI using softmaster NM. I wish it could give you progress. will be happy if you can post these result in forum or mail me
