I adquired an Intouch 10.0 Developer license. This come with two SQL Server 2005 DVDs.

Do you know if Intouch licence include SQL Server license?

I'm using SQL Server because this is a requirement for use AlarmDBLogger.

SQL is supplied as part of Intouch V10, as you said it is required for the alarms.

Wonderware has some sort of agreement with Microsoft that allows Wonderware to furnish a MS SQLServer Standard Edition license with some of Wonderware's products.

I don't think you will find the authorization information in any Wonderware documentation though. You have to call your vendor, or at least I had to, for that.

For alarming you can just use Microsoft SQLServer Express. This does not require authorization.
