PLC and Drive communication

I have a wire saw machine that runs with a Telematique PLC-ABL1REM24042 and a Yaskawa F7 drive. The YASKAWA F7 drive does not respond to the PLC's command. I ran all kind of testing and have not been able to figure out the problem. Also the HMI does not record or register the command. I notice that the rotation speed is register as 0.0 so is the activation rotation drive. For some reason I am unable to change the numbers on the HMI. Can any one help me ascertain the problem? I am not an engineer but I have working knowledge of machinery.

I thank you, in advance, for your assistance.

Ramstone.

This is one of those things that could be about 50 different things.

A common situation is a hard wired interlock that is not being made.
Could also be the PLC is sending a zero speed signal to the drive for some reason.

Please check your part number for the PLC. The part number that you have provided appears to be a power supply. How is the drive connected to to the PLC (Serial or direct I/O connection)? What is the programming package used with the PLC?
