We are currently trying to communicate from a pv600 to a CTI 2572-a and are completly confused about the comms set-up for tags at the panelview end. Has anyone out there used a PV (not PV+) over e-net to a CTI product 2500 controller or 2572-a module?

 

What is are you finding confusing about the addressing? i have not configured the Enterprise driver projects for the PanelView, but I have done guite a few in the desktop.

I have been told I cannot communicate via e-net i/p directly to the CTI 2500 plc from a standard panelview via the panelview CIP parameters. I was also told it would be best to send and receive data via the 2572a module. I am not sure how to set up the service code, class, instance, attribute etc. for the panelview for this application. And we are also new to the 2572a module and are working both ends here to complete the project.
