Hello to everyone,

need help to set up lantronix (UD1100 1A2 01). i have modsoft 2.61 on win XP and i need to communicate to Modicon 984 model 785E on modbus port (9 PIN)

Hi,

I think that Modsoft 2.61 is not compatible with XP (It seems that the software can not access to the com1/2...serial port). I spent a lot of time trying to make it work without success. I finally had to use an old laptop with WMillenium/W98/W2000, I think that any of these OS would work.

This software will allow Modsoft to directly access your com port. I have used it with XP and have had good luck.

ok thanks for direct IO i will try it.

my computer turn on in dos mode. and its very bad way to switch from xp to dos mode .

there is a simple way to run modsoft from my computer ?
