Hey Guys and Gals,
I have a strange one for you.
I setup a very basic Profibus network for comms between a Mitsubishi PLC as Master (Node 1) and a Siemens S7 313C-2DP set as a Slave on node 2.
All appears correct and in data exchange, but when I did my Profibus Analysis I found a second master on node 2.
Looking at the messages I found:
Each master would do their scan of the network looking for foreign nodes.
Master 1 would data exchange with node 2.
Master 1 would pass the token to node 2 who would then act as a master and pass the token back.
How can I stop the Siemens from acting as a Master, when it has been set as a slave
What have I missed? Using Step 7 v5.4.
Many Thanks
Patrick
