The attached is the configuration of Profibus DP network for Siemens S7-400H system. Siemens Y-link is used to communicate to the remote Profibus DP transmitters. Since the remote transmitters are in far location OLM (Profibus->FO) is used. In the same remote location there are few Profibus PA devices and that needs to be communicated to the 400H system. Whether a Siemens DP/PA coupler can be used in the Y-Link network in the remote location? I have three such remote locations.
If not what kind of configuration required to fulfill the purpose? Can anyone help me in this regard.
