Recently I checked all vibration monitor cards supervising vibration on our GTs are set with jumpers in the alarm LATCHING position. Also time delays are set at 3 sec. Does it mean if the vibration exceeds trip limit, card will latch trip relay after the programmed time delay or it will latch as soon as the limit is exceeded.

 

It will only latch the trip relay after the 3secs delay. And also the vibration value should have to remain greater (or equal) to the danger limit for full three seconds.
