Dear All,

we have received voter mismatch alarm during GE GT running. This mismatch is between TCEA Cards (X, Y &Z). We found the LEDs indication on these three cards is not the same.

The alarm number that we got on the HMI is D1698. we replaced the TCEA Cards but still alarm existing also we replaced the TCTG card. Finally we found that the K14 relay on TCTG card is not got a drive signal from the TCQA Card on “S” Core. So we need to replace this card.

We want to know the procedures to replace TCQA card and if any download needs to be done from HMI (Cimplicity) and the procedures to make this download, if required.

Thnks for your continuous help

When you replace a card, you need to be sure all of the jumpers on the new card are in the same place as on the card being replaced.

Power down the processor.

Carefully remove the ribbon cables and other cables from the TCQA being removed. Check the labels on the pull tabs as you are unplugging the cables from the TCQA to be sure they are legible and can be used to properly reconnect them to the new TCQA card.

Then remove the TCQA card and carefully remove the two large socketed chips from the card being replaced and carefully install them in the blank sockets of the new TCQA card.

Then you need to carefully install the TCQA card on the card carrier, and carefully plug the cables back into the new card's sockets.

No downloads are necessary for replacing a TCQA card, because on boot-up the TCQA card will go to the EEPROM on the DCC/SDCC card to get the configuration information it needs.

However, because the TCQA card is new and the components on the card have slightly different tolerances and values than the card it replaced you will probably need to re-calibrate all LVDTs. You might get lucky and check the calibration of all the LVDTs to see if the new TCQA card is relatively close to the other TCQA card feedback values, but if not, be prepared to re-calibrate LVDT feedbacks as necessary.

Hope this helps.
