i want to know the cause of this alarm and the solution

Dear Control,

you don't mention what type of turbine this is, or what type of exciter this is, so I can only guess.

Fault code 728 is an offline trip. I suspect this is not the only fault code, nor do I think this is the fault that tripped the unit. With the EX2000 you must write down and clear each fault. The EX can only display one fault at a time, and it displays the last fault first. So there most likely are other fault codes "behind" the one you are seeing right now.

I would suggest noting this fault code then clearing this one to see the next code in the list. Continue this until there are no more fault codes in memory. Then you should see which fault code was first in, but the last displayed. That is the code you need to start with, since many times the codes displayed first but occuring last are not useful for diagnosing a trip.

Lastly more information from you, will help us provide better answers to your questions.

Thanks for your information!!

His explanation is helping me discover a flaw in the EX2000 .
