The massive power failures that affected the northeastern U.S. after our unusual October snowfall left us with a few tricky problems to solve. One of these was an odd external routing issue in the Verizon system which, unbeknown to us, appears to have prevented people on the Automation List from posting messages.
(For relative newcomers: the Automation List is a legacy email list which is cross-connected to the Control.com forum.)
Unfortunately, we only discovered this when the routing issue was suddenly corrected within the last 24 hours.
During the same period, for an oddly-related reason, the creation of new user pictures (avatars) on the site had been broken, but is now also working again. Huh.
My apologies to those on the A-List who were temporarily disenfranchised, and to those who had unsuccessfully tried to create UserPics (please try again now).
