after greeting i need to ask any one Know what the steps for adding the signal value on the cimplicity diagram? and what the conditions? i tried to put the Air inlet deferential pressure reading but after run the project its value appear like ##### without any value.

Can any one tell me How to add the signal point

pls step by step if available

Please, add more details about your site arrangement as what control system you are using MK VI/e? and if MK VIe, is it TCI OR WorkstationST is being used? what version of complicity installed in mention HMI?...

If you can provide such min details, then we would be able to help....

Thanks for the information..
To add a signal from MK VI in to Cimplicity, here's the basic procedure to be followed:<pre>
1 - add signal to one of EGD Pages in m6b file
A - open m6b file and select Options menu then priviliges
B - select option 2 and enter password (by default it is sit2site2)
C - now, from left side view, select Required EGD To add signal to, right click on last signal on that page and select insert next
D - browse for the signal and Ok
E - validate, put into db, get from sub
F - build and download
G - reboot controllers and confirm all are controlling and equal

2 - Open hmb file and remove the EGD exchanges for that unit

3 - re-add all EGD exchanges then validate, put into sdb, get from sdb, build, save

4 - stop TCI & Cimplicity

5 - restart TCI

6 - open Cimplicity project file *.gef file

7 - do configuration update and restart Cimplicity

Now you can add the signal into Cimplicity.</pre>

1) this steps can doing when unit in service or it should be shutdown?

2)the file hmb is not in my configuration file i can't got it
