Currently we have two units tied to the same GE Mark V PI Historian in one single ArcNet Ring. When we have an issue with the ArcNet communication, we lose data in both units. So I've been experimenting with adding a second ArcNet card to the PI Historian but have not been successful. There are several jumper settings on the ArcNet card that I've tried. But I was doing trial and error which is just quite time consuming. The driver interface under control panel allows you to add a second card but there are several settings that need to be entered in.
Has anyone been able to add a second ArcNet card to the Historian and collect data from two different units successfully?
