Exhaust temp trip limit

Can anyone tell me the exhaust temp trip limit and alarm limit for GE frame 6 and 7 in Centigrade? Also the point name in control constant listings? Thanks a lot.

The values are not the same for every Frame 6 and Frame 7; it varies depending on the type of combustion system in use and the combustion hardware and the type of compressor and how much the IGVs are open at maximum operating angle.

The exhaust temperature control reference is a calculated value. The formula and lots of explanation have been provided in many previous threads on control.com. (Use the well-hidden 'Search' feature in the far right corner of the toolbar at the top of every control.com page. Use the 'Search' help to understand the syntax you must use to search the site's archives for relevant threads.)

There is an upper limit to exhaust temperature, and it's the maximum of TTKOT1, or TTKOT2 or TTKOT3 (I forget which). One of those three constants is also the alarm "delta" which means that when the actual exhaust temperature exceeds the reference by more than 25 deg F (surely you can find a temperature converter on the World Wide Web) an Exhaust Overtemperature Alarm will be generated, and the other is the overtemperature trip limit (40 deg F), which means a trip will be initiated/annunciated when the actual exhaust temperature exceeds the reference by more than 40 deg F.

Again, the alarm and trips are not "hard limits", they are dependent on the exhaust temperature control reference, except for the maximum limit.
