We have 125MW V94.2 Siemens gas turbine. Normally this GT have two modes, they are Load control and Outlet temperature control (OTC of 542 degC). whenever m/c is in load mode all three current active power, MW setpoint and delayed setpoint are equal. (eg: if i give 100MW as a setpoint, all shows 100MW). suppose if m/c is in OTC and if my setpoint is 135MW, active power shows 125mw (with exhaust 542 degC - approx) and delayed setpoint 128mw (3 or 4mw more than active power generation). Could anybody clarify me the reason for the purpose of delayed setpoint? and whenever active power generation varies according to ambient with constant exhaust temp of 542degC, this delayed setpoint also varies (3 or 4mw more than active power generation).
