Not every engineer watches the advisories I do, so I thought a small PSA might be appropriate.
Symantec, the vendor of PCAnywhere, is recommending that customers disable use of PCAnywhere until they have time to produce patches for currently known vulnerabilities.
On of the major recommendations is not to allow direct internet to systems with the PCAnywhere application installed.
