Newly installed 3200HP Ph sensor indicating drift in the reading. Carried out as per instruction manual and guidelines for maintenance and calibration.

What could possibly caused the drift, i.e showing unstable reading.

How do you know the sensor is drifting and not the actual pH?

In any case, pH sensors can be somewhat sensitive to static electricity. It is best to mount them in a metallic and grounded fitting if possible, as opposed to a plastic pipe.

It is also possible it is not temperature compensated.

One other thing - if this is a pure water application (>10 megogm) pH can be hard to measure.

As per manual.one of the following may be problem;

1. Sensor is dirty: Clean the sensor with dilute HCL.
2. Unstable Sample: Adjust the flow between 1-3gph

I personally experienced the problem of improper flow.
