I have firstly designed a new machine by using compactlogix controller.

pls see following configuration: 1769-L32E, PA4, IQ16, OW8, IF8, IF4, MV169-MCM, ECR. installation and commissioning are ok. after one month, I found the program downloaded before was lost. After checking hardware connecting, no trouble findings. Do you have any experience with this issue and how to solve this problem?

 

There are some known issues with this kind of thing in certain
firmware revisions. I would call AB tech support or check the
knowledge base to see if you might have a firmware issue. Or you could
just make sure you have updated all your cards and PLC to the latest
FW release.

I had it happen with V13 and I think it was fixed with V15. AB has some logic you can add to clear the diagnostic data routinely to prevent it from happening if you can't upgrade the version.

 

I have used with V19. How to do it what you said to add to clear the diagnostic data routinely to prevent it from happening. Do you have any document to instruct me to complete it?

I'm confused.you mean the hardware didn't compatible with the firmware. But if this would be happened, could I download program successfully with the old firmware revision. Hope for get answer for you.
