Need a POE Switch

Inexpensive... not really, but I've used a simple combo power supply and injector from B&B, and also a 4 port switch I got from them with built in power supply (I think the latter was made by Advantech, something like $300 but we didn't have space for separate P.S. and switch. ). Try B&B online catalog, they are a good company.

I don't know what your system voltage is, but PoE powered devices operate at 48 volts DC. Many PoE switches can accept 24V, but they will then operate as "normal" switches and not power the PoE ports. You have to supply 48V to get the PoE function, and this would mean an extra power supply for you if you do not have 48V in your system. I am aware of 2 families of PoE switches that accept 24V, and boost it to 48V for the PoE ports. The EKI series from Advantech, and the Sixnet series, recently acquired by Red Lion. I'm paying $300 for an Advantech EKI-2525PA. 5 10/100 ports, 4 PoE.
