Flow measurement and control for seawater application

1. We need to have a measurement as well as control from DCS by replacing the existing MOBREY ultrasonic flow meters with a cost effective solution.

2. Based on an inquiry Emerson offered encapsulated Annubar with isolation valve solutions, but we're not sure of the accuracy of measurement and subsequent control from a DCS.

SIMILARLY WE ALSO HAVE RECEIVED QUOTE FROM another mfr with Mag. flow meter but the cost is very high.

Kindly advise what will be the best optimum solution while considering the reliability of measurement control as well as the cost effectiveness.

Pl. find existing application data sheet for reference.

We are using KROHNE made electro magnetic flow metering low flow range application (300m3/hr) and ultrasonic (Not KROHNE) for higher flow (50000m3/hr) application. Relatively trouble free use since last 7 years.

We are replacing the existing type due to poor product support and maintenance issues. Whether the annubar (opaqued) with isolation valve will be an ideal solution or not?
