I am trying to make a timer count down based on a boolean change. The timer is not in the Mark5 so I will need to generate one in cimplicity.

Have you tried using the CIMPLICITY 'Help' feature?
If so, can you say what is causing the misunderstanding or inability to complete the task?
You would also need to provide the version of CIMPLICITY.
Is the boolean you wish to use already available in the CIMPLICITY project or will you have to add it to the project?
There's just not enough information here to be of much help.
