I am looking for suitable type of level switch to be fixed in some of the bins containing aluminum qubes cubes?. This is to get the minimum level in the bin. At presently the switch what we are using are getting damaged when the material falls on it during filling. We tried to protect these switches by making some protection above the level switch probe but no use. Is there any other kind of level switch for bulk material for such applications?

Use a Laser Level Transmitter and set the output contacts to the level that you want to alarm on. You can also use a Reflex Radar. Both types are non contact and measures at the speed of light.
