Dear All
Biffi double acting actuator installed at 8" gas reducing line operated through jocomatic pneumatic spool. While on spool two 24-volt ASCO coils installed one for opening and other for closing. Currently leakage observed from spool and plant is running, and i want replace the pneumatic part online by utilizing the hydraulic pump which also installed on actuator. But i am not sure that this hydraulic pump is installed only for commissioning or it is alternate source of opening and closing of valve.
And is it possible that by opening the valve from hydraulic pump i remove the pneumatic source and valve should not close.
If any friend face this situation and resolved pls share ur expirence
