I'd suggest asking your local distributor for a tutorial on the
"Structured Ladder" environment, which is the somewhat IEC 61131
compatible environment in the new GX Works2 software that they have.
A lot of guys in the USA are still hooked on the old ladder which is
rather dated. The ability to create function blocks in structured text
or ladder is so incredibly useful that it trumps all arguments IMO.
