Sensors, sensor technologies and channel frequency class
Engineering and workplace issues. topic

Hi,
I'm currently designing a test rig for my final year project at university, this test rig requires a few sensors and a data acquisition system for its intended operation. However I am a mechanical engineering student who knows very little about electronics. I'm struggling to get my head round a few problems, so hopefully someone here might be able to grace me with some knowledge or point me in the right direction.

So I'll put to you my first problem:

What is channel frequency class? and how would it affect the specification of an accelerometer?

(one of the criterion of my design is that it has to be CFC 600)

Many thanks to anyone who can help!
Jim.
