Softing OPC to Siemens
Communications systems and equipment. topic

I have been trying to access Siemens ET200S data over Profibus using Softing OPC server and despite the configuration all checking out (ET200S all green and OPC comms say they are OK) the data in the variables I have created never changes. I have both digital and analog I/O modules in the ET200S, I have tried a variety of data types, all documentation and help on Siemens site is for their own software and Softing help is non-existent. Any ideas what I am missing?

Have you tried another OPC Server? Here is another to try ... it might help narrow it down:
