Hi,
Is there any option/software/interface available to monitor the status of control valves installed in the site through DCS from a remote location (not in the site).
Say, control valve ## is installed in the site to modulate the flow. This is controlled/monitored by DCS in a control room. I would like to see the control valve## operating data (which is available with DCS) from another location which is away from the site through on line server installed.
Pl let me know the details if any one come across this function before.
Thanks in advance!
CJR

Hi CJ,
I suspect there are various options to address your requirement. At Emerson Process Management, we have a product called EDS that should accomplish what you require. The EDS is a visualization package for both real-time and historical plant and process data. Hopefully, this URL displays correctly:

Moderator's comment: the forum software inserts a break after 70 characters. The link works, just cut and paste the link and delete the space between the e and s in Pages.
