I'm looking for instructions/advice on cleaning Honeywell flame detectors on a Frame 7 gas turbine. The detectors we purchase from GE don't contain any instructions and I haven't been able to find anything on the internet specifically concerning solutions and materials. Thanks in advance for your help.

A cotton rag wetted (not soaked) with isopropyl alcohol seems to work best for any hydrocarbon-based grime; otherwise just plain water on a rag will work for most dirt.
I believe the lens area is water-resistant, at a minimum, but it probably shouldn't be submerged.
