how to find register address of a DIGITAL INPUT to connect it to a Display by MODBUS?
Software, including programming, OS issues, etc. topic

Hello,

We want to connect a digital Input module (Z-10-D-in) to S401 (ModBUS RTU indicator with OLED display), but we can't do it in S401. We define a new parameter in "reading" part and choose Boolean in S401, but finally it shows "ANSWER ERROR"

We think that it is because of false register address, because we don't know how to find register address of Z-10-D-In. we check our S401 with an Analog Input and it shows values correctly, but about Z-10-D-In, we cant have a valid output.

Can you help us please?

Hello,

You can use Modbus Scanner from www.modbus.pl to find registers and communication parameters of Modbus RTU device.
