looking for a building management system

Hi, In my factory, grown in 40 years to 10000m2, lots of electrical cabinets, airco's.... I'm thinking of implementing a buildingmanagement system to control light, acces control, alarm, airco's...
But I want to start small and expand it trough the years coming spreading costs.
I heard rumours of a system sending data over powerlines? no need for extra cabling.
Any recommondations?
