Hi Friends,
I am unable to connect to the PLC using WINCC Explorer. Whenever the project is opened the program stops or at least does not process further but displays activating "ALARM RUNTIME LOGGING" and nothing else. It is installed in a DHP'S CHINESE supplied project for a textile application. Can any one help?

Hi,
I understand that when you open WinCC Explorer, it automatically switch to runtime mode and error occurred.
This error normally occur when your computer with WinCC Runtime was shutdowned suddenly due to power failure or computer fail.
To solve this error, when you open the WinCC Explorer, the WinCC runtime is activated automatically, you try to deactivate WinCC Runtime before the error occur.
After that, close the WinCC Explorer, restart the computer and open WinCC Explorer and active Runtime.
If you can not cancel the Runtime process, you shall close the WinCC Explorer. After that, if it is possible, you can move your project to other folder. Re-open WinCC Explorer to make WinCC cannot find the project, it will ask you for project location then you can point the location. The WinCC Runtime will not automatically activated.
