Data transfer of Eurotherm MINI8 multi loop contoller over MODBUS TCP/IP using labview![]() ![]() |
I wants to create front end application using LABVIEW s/w. I have to read/write data from Eurotherm MINI8 multiloop controller (viz PV,SP,O/p etc) over MODBUS TCP/IP. My question is can I used I/O server in Labview to access data directly from the instrument?
If answer is yes, then how to bound share variables with instrument registers? Or I need to prepared separate frame and read to TCP/IP listen and read/write format? Note that the instrument is directly communicate with labview w/o intermediate PLC or LABview H/w.

There was a young lady from Hyde
Who ate a green apple and died.
While her lover lamented
The apple fermented
And made cider inside her inside.
